Fit Dance Studio - Giving You The Right Tools For Successful Weight Loss!

Because you can't dance off a bad diet, we will also teach you about nutrition.  You will learn how to fuel your body so that you can see real results!  A healthy body is a combination of nutrition and exercise - we provide both!  At Fit Dance Studio, you can get in the best shape of your life!  You will never feel alone with our outstanding support group!  We are here for you!

Clean Eating Challenge

This challenge group is going to be a bit different from what you are used to.  Its purpose is not to create a competitive atmosphere where people follow fad diets that cut out entire macro-nutrient groups in order to lose weight quickly.  That kind of unhealthy approach is impossible to follow for more than a few weeks/months.  We want you to develop a healthy lifestyle that you can maintain for the rest of your life.  You won’t be required to purchase any products or follow a specific eating plan – you can choose what works best for you and your lifestyle.  Instead, this will be a support group where we can share recipes, tips, but, most importantly, a positive forum where you will find support to keep you accountable and stay on track (or get back on track if you slip up – we are all human so no one expects you to be perfect).

 

For some extra motivation, we will have a drawing every month.  Here’s how the drawing will work.  Each month, you will contribute $5 to a prize pot.  All of that money will be combined to purchase gift cards to healthy places to eat, nail salons (for manicures or pedicures), massages – something similar to that.  The prizes will be different each month and they will depend on how many people join, so the more people who join, the merrier!  Again, 100% of the monies received will be accounted for and put toward the prizes.  

 

We start on Monday, January 9th.  Clean out your cupboards and your fridge – get all of the junk food out of your house – you don’t want it there to tempt you.  Your kids don’t need it either; so don’t use them as an excuse to keep it around.  Remember, even The Cookie Monster admits that cookies are a sometimes food.  If you don’t want to throw out all of that food, bring it to the studio – we will have a box for you to put it in and we will deliver it to a shelter when it gets full.

 

This is a great opportunity to develop the healthy lifestyle you want and deserve.  Join us and get support along the way.  You will have much more fun, and are more likely to succeed if you surround yourself with people who have similar goals.   

 

To join, all you need to do is the following:

 

1.  Ask to join our Facebook group – Fit Dance Studio Clean Eating Challenge.  This is a private group for members only - that means your friends will not be able to see anything you post or comments that you make.

 

2.  Contribute $5 to the prize fund in one of two ways

 

- Put $5 cash in an envelope with your name printed on it and give it to one of the instructors, or

- PayPal the money to Tara.  Make sure you click the “Send Money to Friends and Family” option, so that you don’t have to pay a fee.  Tara’s PayPal account email is taralmason2@gmail.com.
